Wax Filters

Nearly every hearing aid in the world has some type of small white filter which is used to prevent wax from moving into the inside where it can ruin the sensitive loudspeaker that allows you to hear. This filter can be changed by the user anytime it seems like the hearing aid is not working as well as it should, or you are not able to hear anything at all.
These links will take you to the most commonly used wax filters that are used by my patients. Click on the link to purchase a refill from Amazon.
Oticon - ProWax miniFit
(This is the most popular filter used by my patients)
Filters on Sticks (Many brands of hearing aids use these filters.)
Phonak CeruStop - These filters are only used with Phonak or Unitron hearing aids
Oticon - ProWax (This is the second most popular filter used by my patients. This filter is used for patients who have a customized hard ear mold that goes into their ear canal)
Starkey Hear Clear Filters  - Purchase these if you have Starkey hearing aids that use yellow or orange sticks to replace the wax filters.
Oticon - NoWax (This is filter is not used very much anymore. Only purchase this filter if you have been instructed by me)
Signia miniReceiver - These filters are only used with Signia hearing aids
